Currently, the EPS has been translated or is in the process of being translated, into 14 different languages. These include Italian, Hindi, Marathi, Danish, Japanese, Arabic, Polish, French, French Quebec, Spanish, Portuguese Persian, (Farsi) and German.

In the United States of America the EPS has been evaluated to check whether the English phrasing is meaningful to a US readership. Some changes in phraseology and wording ( mainly English colloquialisms) were made to the English-speaking version of the EPS to make it more accessible to raters in the USA.
